Piazza San Marco

The dawn is rising, the first rays of sunlight begin to give light upon the Square, the lights went out, the tourists begin to pollute the photo shoots with their presence. Piazza San Marco, is one of the most important Italian squares and is renowned worldwide for its beauty and architectural integrity. It is the only square in Venice, as all other urban areas in the shape of the square fields are properly defined. It has a trapezoidal shape and is 170 meters long.

The Ducal Palace

The Ducal Palace, a symbol of the city of Venice and a masterpiece of Venetian Gothic architecture, situated in the monumental Piazza San Marco, between the Piazzetta and the Pier. Ancient seat of the Venetian doge and the magistrates, it has followed the story from the dawn till the fall, and is now the Civic Museum of Palazzo Ducale. In 2010 it was visited by 1,358,186 people.



The Ducal Palace is spread over three wings around the sides of a large central courtyard portico, whose fourth side is the side body of St. Mark's Basilica, an ancient palace chapel..



The two main facades of the building in Venetian Gothic style facing the square and the pier are on two levels colonnades topped by a massive body inlaid marble opened by large windows with ogival, with a monumental central balcony, and the crowning of steeples.

The Bridge of Sighs.



The Bridge of Sighs is one of the most famous bridges in Venice. The Bridge of Sighs was built in Istrian stone, baroque, and was built in the early seventeenth century by the architect Antonio Contin, by order of the Doge Marino Grimani, whose coat of arms is carved on it.This picturesque bridge in Venice, located a short distance from Piazza San Marco, crosses the Rio di Palazzo connecting with a double step, the Palazzo Ducale to the new prisons, the first building in the world built specifically to be a prison. Hello Venice

Dear friends, lucky to have a good time, i went to Venice on Sunday at 2:30 in the morning, which is about an hour from my house. The highway was almost deserted and arriving early at the point of departure, i took the opportunity to take the first shot at night in this beautiful city. The ferry arrived promptly at 3:50 in the morning and after about 20 minutes, i arrived in Piazza San Marco, the target goal. During the excursion, photo, were about 200 pictures with two main objectives: Canon EFS 10-22mm wide angle and telephoto 55-250mm Canon EFS to resume some detail. The photos, I still have to check, and will be posted at the same time of the vision (if deserved). There will be random, but a sufficient explanation of the same hope to give them to you. All photos were taken with the camera on a tripod, Mirror Lock Up activated to prevent vibration and remote control. Manual mode.
