With excellent acoustics due to the vaulted ceiling, the environment is currently used as a music room, suitable for chamber music, and contains some tools of great interest both from the standpoint of antiques from that of 'musical instruments (ie the study of the evolution of musical instruments).
The arc that introduces the alcove has the coat of arms of the Anguissola of Gropparello, the first owners of the castle.
The alcove room in the eighteenth century, was called in this way because the residents in the castle, they could enjoy a period of intimate privacy.
Only later, when the current owner has taken over the castle, has turned this room into a music room.

The piano "grand piano" refined and elegant lines, from the middle of last century (the year of construction, based on the serial number is 1847, so it is very old as the piano, as it normally is considered old a piano in the late nineteenth century) was built in Paris by Pierre Erard (signature inlaid in the lid), one of the most prestigious piano makers of the time.

The harp back, however, the first half of the eighteenth century (the feature size, a bit 'lower than that of the harp as we know it today, stemming from the most massive and sonorous instrument late nineteenth century). From a thorough survey would appear that the harp may have been built by Sebastian Erard.

The string instrument can be defined as "popular cello. " E 'status of the area between Brescia and Cremona, and probably dates to the early seventeenth century.
Dear friends, visiting the Castle Gropparello, is ending. We spent some time in visiting this beautiful medieval manor. There's still one thing: experiments in search of the ghost of Rosania. In the next post, I'll tell you what has happened in these experiments.
